In a post from GMA Network, they announce the passing of the 24 Oras resident host with “profound sadness.” They also declare that the entire network deeply mourns the passing of Enriquez.

Karen Davila shares a few pictures taken in her early stints as a broadcast journalist in GMA. “Mike was a good guy. Down to earth. Funny. Magaan ka-trabaho, napakasaya kasama,” the TV Patrol anchor recalls.

Meanwhile, fellow broadcast journalist and host Arnold Clavio shares a clip from their last moments together. In the video, Clavio and Enriquez are seen doing a TikTok trend. “Paalam aking ama, kaibigan, mentor, kasbwat, boss, at higit sa lahat tagapagtanggol.”
